Hi! I’m Emily, a curious, collaborative Strategy Director located in Brooklyn, NY.
With an ear attuned to the subtleties of human nature and an eye on the business goal, my strategic approach is not just about recognizing patterns and creating frameworks, but situating a brand within the ever-shifting cultural forces that inform our human hopes, fears, and desires.
I have worked on brand strategy, integrated marketing, and qualitative and quantitative research studies for some of the world’s biggest companies in the technology, food & beverage, and health & wellness industries.

Confidential Google X Moonshot company - Launching a new brand identity and narrative, and naming industry-defining technology products for this company was one of the coolest and most rewarding moments of my career — ask me for more details in person!
Google Chrome - A flexible internal strategy for a unifying creative platform supporting various partners of Chrome Enterprise Recommended, spanning health care, manufacturing, and retail sectors, each with their own briefs, business goals, and audiences.
Lenovo - Honed in on the audience’s driving desires for kindness, empathy and change in global brand campaigns that take us out of our own orbit, define the future on the ground, give a glimpse of the opportunities presented by the new way to work, and help support deserving small businesses in real time.
Goldman Sachs - Created a flexible communications platform for Marcus by taking a cue from the evolving conversations on mental health as an organic avenue into Millennials’ financial health — and financial anxieties.
P&G - Self-care has permeated every consumer channel there is. A successful foray into TikTok for Crest Whitestrips ingeniously incorporated the product into the organic “get ready with me” trend.
Expedia - Generated massive headlines with a helping hand at a time when both the travel “itch” and travel fears were at an all-time high. (2020 was wild).

Google - Designed survey methodology for qualitative and quantitative research associated with the Next Billion Users initiative, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and quantitative surveys. For more details, including a pretty awesome research question, please reach out!
P&G - Scope Squeez intended to shake up their longstanding category for P&G and stand out in the shopping aisles, but first we had to dive deep on their audience’s preferences and position them against a rising tide of similarly innovative DTC brands.
Danone - For an organic baby food brand wanting to stand out from flashier challengers, our team provided an in-depth look at multicultural Millennials moms and their preferences using a combination of research inputs: MRI, syndicated platforms, data analytics and in-depth interviews.
Zeno Group’s Gen Disrupted - Thought leadership for the agency established a clear point of view on the ever-evolving Generation Z in the wake of the pandemic for clients like Tinder, Coca Cola, Ulta Beauty and more.
I have also worked on confidential client IP serving various purposes, ask for more details.

Delighter -A monthly newsletter-essay musing on art, music, books, and other forms of self-expression started as a passion / salvation project in 2020. Today I consider it something like an alter-ego.
Girls Write Now - I’m paired with a super-talented high-school aged student who loves to write and wants to nurture that love and talent for life. It’s an honor!
Legal Outreach - In the year leading up to the pandemic, I taught a biweekly class on the art of the persuasive essay to help prepare NYC high school sophomores for their college applications.
Mood Ring - From 2016-2018, I hosted a weekly Internet radio show featuring a moody playlist and a steady stream of creative people that broadcasted live from a shipping container in Bushwick.
